What Is Zip?

ZipPay and ZipMoney are a simple and interest-free payment solution that allows you to experience About Face Brisbane’s treatments now and pay later, all without the need for a credit card.

Thousands of Aussies are using Zip, and more and more companies are offering it to their customers as it’s so easy to use and a far more convenient way for customers to pay. Zip is accepted by thousands of shops and online stores around Australia.

How Does Zip Work?

ZipPay and zipMoney is very simple and works like an account. Here’s how it works.

Step 1: If you don’t already have a Zip account, sign up for one, either at home before your treatment or at our North Lakes Clinic (it’s free to sign up). You’ll need to have your bank account details handy. After that, we recommend you download the Zip free app as this will make the next steps even easier for you.

Step 2: After your treatment, let our reception staff know you’d like to pay with Zip. Remember you can use zipPay and zipMoney for all of our treatments, as long as you have enough credit left in your account.

Step 3: Sign into your Zip account using your mobile phone (or tablet) and select ‘Shop In-Store’ from the digital wallet menu.

Step 4: You’ll receive a six-digit, unique code from Zip – this will display in the app. Please share this code with our reception staff, who will use this code to process your transaction.

Step 5: Zip will pay About Face Brisbane on your behalf. You then pay Zip back gradually, flexibly, and with no interest.

How Do I Sign-up For A Zip Account?

To sign up for a free zipPay or zipMoney account, click here.

You can create an account in three ways:

  • using your email address, or
  • using your PayPal account if you have one, or
  • using your FaceBook account if you have one.

Choose which option you want to sign up with, and the website or app will guide you through the setup process. It’s fast and easy.

How Do I Know If I’m Eligible For ZipPay?

If live in Australia and are over the age of 18, you are eligible to sign up for a free Zip account.

Do I Have To Pay Interest?

No, there is no interest as long as you make your repayments to Zip on time.

Are There Any Hidden Charges?

There is zero catch for our clients. Zip charges About Face Brisbane a small fee each time zipPay is used. About Face Brisbane absorbs this cost (we have not increased our treatment prices to compensate for this) but it’s a very small price for us to pay to have happy clients who can manage to pay us on their own terms.

Which About Face Brisbane Treatments Can I Pay For Using ZipPay?

All of them! As all of our treatments, services, and products are less than $1000 each, you can Zip any of our treatments, from laser hair removal to HydraFacials, laser tattoo removal and Clatuu fat removal. Even our signature IncontiLase bladder weakness treatments and NightLase laser sleep apnea and snoring therapy treatments can be paid for with Zip.

If your Zip account funds that you have available don’t cover the full cost of the treatment, the Zip app will prompt you to make a co-payment before completing the transaction.

Does About Face Brisbane Accept Other Payments (other than credit and debit cards)?

Not all payment plans are the same

While there are many interest-free or low-interest payment options that you can sign up and apply for, not all clinics can accept every type of payment. For a merchant to accept payments they need to be registered with that funds provider. About Face Brisbane is currently signed up with zipPay only. This means that if you wanted to pay for your treatments via a different financial provider, like zipMoney, then we would not be able to process your payment. So please ensure that you sign up for zipPay and we look forward to you visiting our clinic.
