DR ALVIN PRAKASH

Doctor and Cosmetic Physician

Dr. Alvin Prakash is an accomplished physician with distinctive dual training in cosmetic practice, including laser therapies, skin cancer medicine and surgery. Dr Prakash’s unique skill set and wealth of experience ensures patient’s receive a holistic approach to their aesthetic concerns and is a valuable asset to our team at About Face North Lakes.

Dr Prakash has undergone advanced training in the treatment of skin lesions, unwanted moles, vascular conditions, facial rejuvenation and snoring treatments through various advanced laser therapies.
Dr Prakash has a background in advanced skin cancer surgery where he detects and treats cancers involving cosmetically sensitive areas including the eye, nose and lip regions. He is also involved in teaching doctors advanced surgical techniques in skin cancer surgery. His knowledge of facial anatomy, scar and wound management complements his cosmetic practice including muscle relaxants for cosmetic and medical applications.
In cases where a skin cancer is detected, Dr Prakash can provide comprehensive care through his practice at Redcliffe Skin Cancer Centre.

Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) with High Distinction – James Cook University, Queensland.
Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP).

DR NAFIS BOLOURIAN

Doctor & Cosmetic Physician

Dr Nafis Bolourian graduated from medical school in 2010 and has worked as a GP since that time. She soon found out, after entering the medical world, that she had a special interest in Cosmetic Medicine and started exploring and expanding her expertise in the field.

Dr Nafis moved to Australia with her family in 2015 and has continued to work as a GP and Cosmetic Physician in Brisbane. She gained her fellowship with RACGP in 2020.

Practice Manager & Senior Dermal Therapist

With 8 years of experience in the beauty and laser industry, she’s a skin saviour, ready to tackle all your skin worries. Her warm smile awaits you every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at our clinic. Since 2019, she’s been mastering laser hair removal and skin consultations. But that’s not all, Stephanie’s skills extend to Clatuu fat freezing, Hydrafacials, Micro needling, Tesla Former/Chair, and Ultraformer III. We’re thrilled to have such a knowledgeable and approachable professional in our team. Feel free to chat with Stephanie about your skin concerns during your appointment. KELLY IRWIN

With a background in business management and a long-standing interest in skin health, anti-ageing and aesthetic treatments, Kelly brings a different perspective to the About Face team.
As she approaches her 40s, Kelly has become particularly passionate about understanding how skin changes with age and what can genuinely help maintain healthy, fresh and natural-looking skin. She loves learning about new treatments, technologies and skincare products and is often the first to try them on her own skin! This hands-on approach allows her to understand treatments from a client’s perspective as well as the practical side of delivering them in clinic.
Kelly has completed training in HydraFacial, Micro needling, Tesla Former and Tesla Chair treatments, as well as skin tightening treatments (Ultraformer III). She has a particular interest in skin rejuvenation, collagen stimulation, skin health and creating realistic treatment plans that combine in-clinic treatments with good-quality home skincare.
Her philosophy is simple: looking after your skin shouldn’t be about trying to look 20 forever, it’s about keeping your skin healthy, strong and looking its best as you age.

KAREN CAMPEY

Laser Specialist

Karen is a qualified laser and skin technician with more than 17 years’ experience in the cosmetic medical industry. She is passionate about providing cutting-edge treatments for skin anti-ageing and prevention. Karen’s approach has always involved continuing education and training, which is the foundation for our team. Karen performs laser rejuvenation and fractional resurfacing at our clinic to treat pigmentation issues, skin laxity, lines/wrinkles, uneven texture and other signs of sun damage and ageing.
