Lip Fillers Add Volume and Definition
Lip fillers are a cosmetic injectable treatment performed by a qualified doctor or nurse. Lip enhancement is a popular cosmetic treatment because of the immediate visual results and overall aesthetic improvement. Lip fillers are one of our most requested treatments as our injectors use a specific technique to achieve superior results, creating a natural appearance for our patients.
Dr Campey and Registered Nurse Marian both have over 20 years’ experience in providing injectable treatments for patients. Their knowledge and expertise ensure a comfortable treatment for patients that want to replace lost volume, correct proportions, correct uneven lips, add volume to naturally thin lips and reduce the appearance of lip lines. Both of our injectors have an in-depth understanding of the anatomy of the lips and can discuss your best outcome in a free consultation.
How do Lip filler injections work?
A tiny needle is used to expertly inject the filler into the targeted areas to correct or enhance features of the lip. Adding volume to key areas of the lip creates plump, defined, and smooth lips with instant results.

Commonly Asked Questions
How long do lip fillers last?
Lip enhancement results are immediate and can last between six months and one year. The lips are a very mobile part of the body. Eating, smiling, talking, and kissing are all normal functions of the lips and these movements can tend to accelerate the loss of filler from the area.
What happens the day after lip fillers
During the first 24 hours after your lip filler treatment, you will experience swelling, redness, tenderness, and bruising. To avoid possible bruising, we recommend not engaging in heavy exercise or alcohol consumption following your treatment. It is also best to avoid Asprin, vitamin E, fish oil tablets and other blood-thinning medications 72 hours before your treatment time. These medications can tend to increase the risk of bruising. If you have any concerns regarding medications and your treatment, Dr Campey can advise you prior to your procedure.
Lip Filler swelling stages
The purpose of lip filler is to add volume, create definition, correct asymmetry, and generally enhance the shape and contours of your lips.
Your lips will appear fuller immediately after the treatment. Over the next few days, you may experience some lumps and bumps. This is common, as is general swelling. The reason this can occur is due to the injected product and the inflammatory response of your body. The swelling will reduce as the inflammation diminishes and your lips will look and feel softer. The average days of swelling can be anywhere from 3 to 7 days, with daily improvement.
How much does 1ml of lip filler cost?
Depending on the product used, lip filler prices range from $495/mL to $550/mL.
