INTIMALASE VAGINAL TIGHTENING

Vaginal Tightening Treatment with IntimaLase

Helping women get their confidence back

Vaginal tightening treatments are the perfect solution for women who are self-conscious of their “down there,” or want great sex again. If you have noticed vaginal laxity, you are not alone. Vaginal relaxation syndrome (looseness of the vagina) is a very common condition for women, especially after childbirth. If you’ve considered Vaginoplasty (plastic surgery for the vagina), you’ve probably discovered how expensive and risky it is.

The great news is that About Face Brisbane has a much better solution: IntimaLase, 30-minute painless laser treatment with no side effects. You will feel like your old self again, or even better than before.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

IntimaLase – What Is It?

IntimaLase is a 30 minute non-surgical, pain-free laser treatment which targets the vaginal tissue. The heat of the laser focuses on the tissues surrounding the vaginal wall which stimulates collagen growth resulting in tightening of the vaginal canal and some of the inner labial tissue.

How Does It Treat Vaginal Relaxation Syndrome?

IntimaLase uses thermal energy produced by a laser to target collagen growth on the vaginal canal. An attachment, which is like a pap-smear speculum, is inserted four to six centimetres into the vagina and short pulses from the device are targeted on the area. Stimulating the vagina tissue helps to restore the tissue and increase blood flow to the vaginal wall. The stimulation of fresh collagen helps to tighten vaginal walls.

How Can I Achieve A Tighter Vagina Without Surgery?

Dr Colin Campey is a head doctor and is an expert in administering laser treatments, while Karen Campey is a trained laser specialist. Both Colin and Karen amass over 20 years’ experience in dealing with women’s conditions and can provide the right treatment plan to suit you.

IntimaLase is the latest in advance Laser technology. It is pain-free, safe and quick. There are no special pre-or post-operative precautions, and no surgery or anesthesia required. Best of all only one or two treatments are necessary. The majority of patients see significant improvements within a very short period of time after their first treatment. Your partner will notice the difference with satisfying results.

Will My Partner And I Notice The Difference?

Yes. Clinical results show that the growth of tissue from the collagen stimulation tightens the vaginal canal which means greater sexual satisfaction to the woman and their partner. Most women who have IntimaLase say that they experienced more intense sensations and deeper orgasms. Upon starting up sexual activity after abstaining for 2 weeks you will notice the difference and this will continue to improve for up to four weeks.

There is no better time to try IntimaLase today – your partner will thank you for it.

How Many Treatments Will I Need?

Generally, one to three treatments are necessary, however individual results may vary. This can also be a personal preference where you feel another treatment might improve your tightness just that bit more.

Is IntimaLase Painful?

No. IntimaLase is not painful. Most patients experience a warm sensation in the vaginal area.
Depending on the thin tissue of the walls of the vagina some women may experience some mild discomfort (a burning or itching sensation) at the entrance to the vagina.

One of our Doctors will discuss these concerns at your initial consultation to ensure your comfort during the procedure.

What Happens Before, During And After IntimaLase Treatment?

Before treatment:

You will meet one of our Doctors who will discuss your concerns to see if IntimaLase is the right treatment for you. Before the treatment can proceed, you need to provide your latest Pap smear results (the results should be within the last 12 months or less).

You do not need to fast or have any blood tests done before the treatment. You must not be menstruating when having the procedure. The best time to have this treatment performed is during the first week following your period.

During treatment:

If your treatment is scheduled with a male doctor, a qualified female laser technician will be present during the actual procedure. You can request our female Doctor, Nafis Bolourian. The doctor will also explain the IntimaLase process and after-care instructions and answer any questions you may have.

You will sit in a comfortable position on a treatment table in a private treatment room. You can wear your own clothes, but a pair of shorts will be provided that has a small slit in them to ensure your comfort and privacy is maintained throughout the procedure. While your feet will be slightly elevated in stirrups, only a very small amount of skin on your lower body will be exposed thanks to the specially designed shorts.

A handpiece type speculum will be gently inserted into the vagina and a series of short, safe pulses will be targeted in the vaginal canal. This is painless, and no incisions or anesthetic are required. With the procedure taking 30 minutes to be completed, you can even have this done on your lunch break or before kids get home from school.

After treatment:

This is a simple walk-in walk-out procedure where you can get back to your usual daily routine right away. However, there is the chance of mild side effects such as slight redness and swelling and a discharge (transparent) for two to three days. This is normal and nothing to be concerned about. There is no bleeding, no stitches, and no medications are necessary.

Below are the after-care requirements which you need to follow to ensure the treatment is successful:

  • You must make sure there is no trauma to the area. No strenuous activities and no sexual intercourse for two weeks after the treatment.
  • Do not use tampons for a period of four weeks after the procedure.
  • The results of IntimaLase will take one to four months to take full effect.

This will be explained to you during your initial consultation with one of our Docotrs and some take-home information will be given to you as well.

Is Intimalase The Same Thing As IncontiLase?

No. Although they both use the Fotona Laser machine, IntimaLase treats the entire vaginal canal with short pulses that have a different laser strength to IncontiLase. This is why IntimaLase will not help with Stress Urinary Incontinence.

Will IntimaLase Treatment Stop Me From Being Able To Have A Baby?

No. Intimalase does not cause sterility or will not prevent you from falling pregnant or your ability to give birth naturally.

I’m Not Ready To Try Laser Treatments – Can I Tighten My Vagina Naturally?

If laser treatments aren’t an option for you right now then Kegel exercises might help to strengthen your pelvic floor muscles.

Start by squeezing your internal pelvic muscles – the same ones that stop yourself from peeing when you don’t want to go straight away. You can do this inconspicuously and at your leisure. Try it the next time you use the toilet.

Once you have learned how to use these muscles repeat the exercise numerous times throughout the day.

We sell Kegel balls out our clinic for $55 including GST. However, Kegel exercises only work for the pelvic floor and they do not improve the tightness of the vaginal tissue. It is important to choose a professional clinic that uses high-quality laser machines that are used by fully qualified laser technicians and doctors.

At About Face Brisbane we offer superior results from our quality IntimaLase machine and expert advice from one of our Doctors – your comfort and satisfaction are our number one priority.
